With a leadership team boasting over 125 years of combined industry experience, they are now looking for a Contracts Manager to strengthen their operations team and help drive their continued success. Their project portfolio includes values ranging from £1m-£5m, primarily located in and around Central London, across sectors such as: Offices/Commercial Heritage/Listed Buildings Retail/Restaurants, Cafes & Shops Schools & Student Accommodation Sports & Leisure Facilities High-End Residential Key Responsibilities – Contracts Manager Project Oversight Oversee multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to the highest standards. Establish and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for project stakeholders. Ensure all projects meet contractual obligations, quality benchmarks, and client expectations. Coordinate project schedules, ensuring proper resource allocation and adherence to timelines. Team Leadership Lead project teams, providing clear direction and support to Project Managers, Site Managers, and other team members. Conduct performance reviews and mentor team members to promote career development. Foster a collaborative, solution-oriented work environment. Commercial & Financial Management Manage budgets for multiple projects, including cost forecasting, monitoring, and reporting. Oversee subcontractor agreements and performance, ensuring value for money. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Health & Safety Implement and uphold robust Health & Safety procedures across all sites. Conduct regular safety audits, addressing issues promptly to maintain compliance with regulations. Candidate Requirements Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager within the commercial refurbishment and fit-out sector. Strong understanding of construction contracts, legal requirements, and commercial principles. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Excellent financial acumen and experience with budget management and reporting.
