Job Description

LNT Construction Limited, part of LNT Care Developments are looking for a full time Systems Administrator to join the Payroll Team. Key Responsibilities: Be the main contact for site employees for queries with regards to hours and pay before it is escalated to the payroll department. Liaise with Contracts Managers and Construction Directors in relation to site employees’ hours and expenses. Check time sheets of all construction site staff on a daily/weekly basis (circa 350 employees) Calculate the travel time for all construction site staff where applicable. Check expenses of all construction site staff on a 4 weekly basis to make sure they conform to policies and procedures. Raise any anomalies and investigating in relation to hours and expenses to the Managers. Raise a template File Note for the anomalies to be completed by the Managers and ensure that they are returned in line with deadlines. Record any manual wage adjustments and the expenses adjustments. Support the Employee Experience Department and Payroll in all other admin duties. Support in the cross-checking of hotel bookings for site employees and report any discrepancies to the Admin Team Add any absences and training courses onto the internal system. Ensure that Fit for Work Notes are processed. Ensure that Return to Work Forms & SSP Forms are completed for any absences. Complete weekly hourly reports to be sent to the Managers. Complete Payroll reports prior to the pay run deadline Complete Overtime reports prior to the pay run deadline Complete absence reports prior to the pay run deadline Complete the Supervisors reports prior to the pay run deadline. Ensure that all Bank Holidays are recorded correctly on CoolCare & Timesheets Input manual timesheets onto CoolCare and chase any outstanding timesheets. Ensure the supervisors hours are recorded correctly on the spreadsheet. Ensure that any communications regarding expenses etc are communicated to the site staff. Prepare Snap to Shift spreadsheets for the Contract Managers Ensure the Snap to Shift hours are added onto CoolCare and the calculations are correct. Key Requirements: Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent telephone manner. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Excellent organisational skills in being able to multi-task and re-prioritize at frequent intervals. A high level of accuracy and has an eye for detail. Ability to work on own initiative. Issue resolution and problem solving ability Strong communication and inter-personal skills Ability to handle pressure and good time-management. Ability to adapt to change and work effectively as part of a team. Friendly, calm and professional manner. Understanding the need of internal confidentiality.
