Managing Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager – East Midlands - £90k Package Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your career path with a financially stable, forward thinking, family-owned business? Due to organic growth and internal promotions, a position has been created for either a fully experienced Commercial Manager or a Managing Quantity Surveyor looking to develop into a Commercial Manager role with a personalised and tailored career path. This contractor specialises in Civil Engineering providing both Main Contractor and Subcontractor services. They work on a wide range of frameworks for Local Authorities Government Contracts and Retail Clients as well as one off schemes for Private Developers and Main Contractors. Projects span Public Realm, Structures, Cycle Highways, Large Scale Infrastructure, Water, Carparks and S278 works. These range from £500k up to £12m with a mix of NEC, JCT and Bespoke contracts. They are looking to recruit a Managing Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to take over the day to day management of a team of 6 Commercial Staff providing mentoring, guidance, personal development plans as well as allocation of workload. The successful candidate would be involved in both pre and post contract stages for projects, involved in identifying risk and opportunity, managing client relations and in aiding the Commercial Director with the day to day structuring and growth of the business. This role is literally ideal for someone with big dreams for their career. This role comes with quite a wide range of salary as fully dependent on entry level of experience - £75k through to £90k (negotiable) with £8k car allowance, discretionary bonus and many other benefits.
