Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Clinical Nurse Specialist Discipline: Nurse Practitioner Start Date: 01/13/2025 Duration: 26 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Locum Tenens End Date: 3-6 months with option to extend Schedule Needed: 8 hour shifts, Full time, Mon - Fri, 0745-1645 Other Support Staff: The practice is supported by a Nurse Manager who operates a 24-hour health services system at the site. Type of Facility: Corrections An Institutional NP operates a Doctor’s Office Practice within a correctional facility. Primary duties involve providing professional medical care and medication management to offenders with assistance from nursing staff. prescribing controlled substances and devices in accordance with current regulations Patient Census: 16-20 per day Other Information: Female only, medium security prison.
