In this rewarding position you'll combine elements of practical day to day support for customers who have some quite complex backgrounds and support needs, with housing security and concierge duties. Each day brings new opportunities to positively impact our customers lives. Our customers live within one of 5 buildings and have their own accommodation within these. Most of the accommodation buildings are within walking distance of each other but one is a little further away. Our team help them to develop and maintain independent living skills, so that they can successfully move on to their own independent accommodation. A typical shift will involve Working with customers who are street homeless or who are experiencing difficulties maintaining their accommodation and carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews. Taking the lead on health and safety within out buildings, patrolling to ensure fire doors are secure and all areas are safe, clean and well-maintained. Acting as first point of contact for customers when their support networks aren't available. You'll respond to incidents and be able to think on your feet. Building meaningful connections with customers through cuppas, chats and collaborative problem solving.
