Job Description
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for selling Hotaly subscriptions to hospitality businesses, helping them increase their visibility and grow their presence through our innovative multi-site venue listing platform. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of the hospitality sector while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Relationship Building: Identify and secure new subscription opportunities within the hospitality sector. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers. Client Acquisition: Target and convert leads by clearly articulating the benefits of the platform, ensuring venues understand the value of being listed. Product Knowledge & Demonstrations: Leverage your deep understanding of the platform’s capabilities to conduct effective demos and presentations. Market Development: Identify trends and opportunities within the market, crafting tailored solutions for clients. Sales Pipeline Management: Own and manage your sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and maintaining a high conversion rate. Industry Networking: Attend industry events and conferences to expand your network, identify prospects, and stay ahead of market trends. Identify and Target Key Corporate Clients: Research and identify companies in your area that host corporate meetings, away days, conferences, and other events. Build relationships with decision-makers to understand their needs and offer our platform as the best solution for booking venues. Support the ESS Team: Work closely with the ESS team to understand client needs and help provide venue options. Assist in making the booking process smoother, ensuring the ESS team can secure corporate events and deliver great customer experiences. Reporting & Analytics: Track and report sales performance, pipeline progression, and market feedback to the Sales Director. Areas We’re Looking for Our BDMs to Cover (Applicants MUST be based in the areas listed below): Manchester & Cheshire North East: Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough Scotland: Glasgow, Edinburgh South West: Cardiff, Bristol, Bath, Swansea London Central: Birmingham, Coventry Yorkshire: Leeds, York Ireland: Dublin, Belfast South: Brighton, Kent, Southampton, Portsmouth Home Counties: Oxfordshire, Berkshire Your Experience includes: Proven success in a business development or sales role, ideally within the hospitality industry or related sectors. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with experience in building long-term client relationships. Knowledge of subscription-based sales models and an ability to articulate value propositions effectively. A passion for hospitality and an understanding of venue operations and challenges. Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven, with a keen eye for detail and time management. Why Join Us?
