Mobile Multiskilled Engineer – South Vacancy Marble Talent Group are looking for two field-based engineers, responsible for the service, repair, maintenance and sometimes fabrication of scissor lifts, dock levellers, balers, pallet trucks and compactors. The client is an independent national, service, maintenance and repairs provider of recycling equipment. They require a field-based engineer in the Southeast to cover Bedfordshrie and the Northern Homecoutnies, through to Kent. They also require a field-based engineer in the Southwest ro cover, Wiltshire, Bristol, Somerset and surrounding. The roles will largely be service, repairs and maintenance, although their will be some welding/ fabrication involved also. The role would suit technically minded, engineering professionals with excellent customer facing skills, an aptitude for problem solving and the motivation and discipline to be standalone field-based engineers. The candidates must have a good mechanical engineering background, but also have working knowledge and experience of three phase electrics. A background in compressors, hydraulics and/ or pneumatics would be advantageous. As well as clear avenues to progress the client provides exceptional training via in house courses as well as external engineering qualifications, should they be required. Remuneration: Salary up to £40,000 Pension: 3% employer contribution. Health Insurance: Yes Overtime Rates: 1.5x hourly pay: Monday–Friday (before 8:00 am and after 6:00 pm, or after 10 hours). 2.0x hourly pay: Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays. Standby Pay: £105 per instance (7 times annually); callouts are paid at double time. Hotel Allowance: Planned: £25.00 £30.00 meal allowance. Less than 24 hours’ notice: £60.00 £30.00 meal allowance
