REST SERVER ASSISTANT PM - POLPO PB

Polpo, located within the luxurious Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa, is a premier dining destination committed to excellence. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Server Attendant that can service guests, assist with functions for server, deliver food to guest tables according to hotel specification, courteously, and efficiently. Additional duties include assisting in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment and providing lateral service when necessary. Must be able to work afternoons, nights, holidays and weekends. Essential Qualifications: Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding. Ability to provide legible communication. Be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds. Essential Skills: Ability to understand guest's service needs. Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service several guests within any given period of time. (transport food items to the bar, dining room in timely manner) Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision. Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team. Ability to check the food chit and serve food to guests without asking.
