Accounting Manager

Trueline's client, a real estate investment and development company based in Florida, is seeking an Accounting Manager/Sr Accountant to join their team in Jacksonville beach. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is an exciting opportunity to work for a rapidly growing company that is making a significant impact on the Jacksonville real estate landscape. What You'll Do: Prepare monthly tax-basis and GAAP financial statements for various entities Monitor and maintain cash balances Prepare monthly reconciliation of bank accounts Maintain books and records of various entities, including posting all transactions Prepare monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including intercompany Ensure timely payments of invoices, rents, taxes, licenses, and note payments Prepare analysis spreadsheets and reports as needed Assist with tax and audit requirements by preparing spreadsheets Cross-train across roles/departments and assist with other business needs as required You'll Succeed as the Accountant if you Have: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Strongly preferred : job-costing (construction accounting experience a plus) Familiarity with Computerease (Deltek) software a HUGE PLUS Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, capital assets, accruals, and financial statements Ability to pass a background check Our Client Offers: Competitive compensation and benefits package Opportunities for career growth and development Positive, team-oriented company culture Modern office environment in the heart of Jacksonville Beach Trueline and its clients are equal opportunity employers committed to diversity and inclusion.
