Experienced Caregiver Cudahy/South Milwaukee

Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide essential care and support to our clients. The Caregiver will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and companionship. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving or a related field and possess a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those in need. Duties: - Provide personal care assistance to clients, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. - Assist with meal preparation and feeding in accordance with dietary restrictions. - Administer medication following prescribed schedules and guidelines. - Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the well-being of clients. - Assist with mobility and transfers as needed. - Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being. - Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment. Skills: - Proficiency in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to support clients effectively. - Experience in nursing home, home care, or long-term care settings is advantageous. - Knowledge of patient care principles and practices. - Ability to cook nutritious meals and cater to specific dietary needs. - Familiarity with home health procedures and protocols. - Experience working with people with disabilities or seniors is beneficial. - Understanding of assisted living facilities and services.
