Position Overview As the Chief of Mental Health, you will lead a multidisciplinary team committed to providing innovative, compassionate care to our veterans. This position includes a faculty appointment with the University of San Francisco at Fresno , offering you opportunities to engage in academic medicine, mentor future mental health professionals, and participate in education and research. Compensation Salary Range : $325,000 to $335,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Performance Bonus : May include up to $15,000 annually based on meeting performance goals. Sign-On Bonus : Candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of the Mental Health Department, including clinical services, patient care, and community mental health outreach. Oversee the development and implementation of innovative, evidence-based treatment programs. Mentor and guide a team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and mental health nurses. Foster collaboration with hospital leadership to ensure mental health services align with the VA’s overall mission.
