See more at our website: http://conferencedirect.com/ Job Description The Junior Accountant will assist ConferenceDirect (the "Company") with accounting functions to include Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, reconciliation projects and other matters. The Junior Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager. Requirements Job Responsibilities • Monitor daily revenue recognition entries • Manage bank reconciliations on a weekly basis • Reconcile credit card accounts weekly • Calculating and processing incentives based on Incentive agreements • Prepare month end closing entries and journal entries as needed • Ensure all transactions have posted through to the general ledger • Perform balance sheet analysis monthly • Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports • Assist with special projects • Assist other departments as needed Job Requirements • Working on a degree in Accounting, CPA candidates preferred • 1-2 years relevant experience • Understanding of Microsoft Excel • NetSuite experience preferred • Hospitality industry (i.e. hotel or event planning) preferred • Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task based on priority levels • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently • Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, writing and presentation skills ConferenceDirect is an Equal Opportunity Employer It is the policy of the Company to provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and employment applicants without regard to unlawful considerations of race, religion, creed, color, national origin, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, marital status, or any other classification protected by applicable local, state or federal laws.
