Quantity Surveyor

A renowned property consultancy with an ambitious and forward-thinking quantity surveying team are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor for their London office. The Quantity Surveyor's Role The incoming Quantity Surveyor will join the Major Projects and Cost Consultancy Department working on both new build and refurbishment projects typically ranging from £500k - £30m, but occasionally in excess of £100m. You will benefit from an exciting variety of sectors such as Industrial, Life Sciences, Hospitality, Commercial, Office, Residential, Retail, Arts and Education ensuring no two days will be the same. You will be expected to work independently although supervision is readily available through the senior management team. Main tasks: Preparing cost plans and order of costs Carrying out tender analysis and preparing tender reports; Preparing interim valuations and financial reports; Agreeing variations and final accounts Providing support, guidance & supervision to junior members of staff Preparing & coordinating tender packs & managing the tendering process Attending site and design team meetings This could be the perfect opportunity for a professional Quantity Surveyor eager to work in a client facing role with excellent career progression.
