Job Description

My client is one of the World's leading Serviced Apartment providers. They are looking for an Account Manager to run their Agency and Relocation accounts. You will be managing a portfolio of targeted relocation and serviced apartments, maintaining relationships, and successfully aiming to achieve individual KPI's which support the wider business targets. The ideal candidate would have an established network within the UK serviced apartment/ aparthotel network. Key Responsibilities & Missions Independently manages and grows a portfolio of targeted relocation and serviced apartments booking agency accounts to achieve the maximum market share and profitability from those accounts, by implementing a detailed account management process. Organises and implements regular client activities to cement the relationship with existing accounts, in accordance with the set objectives. Maintains current knowledge of the economic environment using competitive intelligence. Strong business acumen with ability to adapt account management to meet business needs. Acts as a sales champion to initiate a sales plan and ensure your targeted property achieves total room revenue. Ability to understand relocation business model and generate revenue from relationship management Complies with sales and price policy defined by the group when making proposals in order to promote the high profit price scales. Works with Revenue team, Residents Managers and Sales team to identify the needs for clients' UK and European properties, and able to confidentially propose and communicate the solutions to the team. To be an active and strong advocate in the wider commercial function of the business, identifying new client opportunities, participating in client pitches and promoting the client by attending tradeshows, events and networking opportunities. Uses cross selling techniques and for promoting all the residences of the group. Delivers the agreed sales target through new business growth and development of the existing accounts. Supports and undertakes projects to drive new business opportunities (RFP, Trade Shows, Sales Campaigns, Sales Trips) Proactively identify, target and win new accounts for the client's properties via a structured pipeline process. Qualification & Experience Preferable degree Hospitality and Business Management A minimum two years' experience in sales environment Exposure and proven track record in generating revenue from all segments including leisure, conference, corporate, OTA and TMCs Attributes / Competencies Target driven, with previous experience of new business development and account management in the hospitality or service sector in the UK. Excellent relationship building skills with new and existing clients. Structured approach to business development, with excellent technical skills (e.g. strong negotiation, account planning, contracting and sales administration). Strong academically Excellent communication skills with ability to operate and thrive in a fast-paced, nimble work environment. Creative thinker who wants to keep progressing fast through their career, forming an industry leading function within the group. Experienced in learning sales technologies effectively and efficiently. Strong skills and experience in standard office desktop applications. Excellent organization and prioritization skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously ranging from strategy to execution.
