Job Title: Cafe Assistant About the Role: Our client, a popular family leisure venue on the East Sussex coast, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Cafe Assistant to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the overall success of the venue. Key Responsibilities: Providing excellent customer service Preparing and serving food and beverages Maintaining a clean and organized workspace Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations Assisting with stock control and inventory management Taking on additional responsibilities, such as supervising the team, when required Required Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a cafe or hospitality setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work weekends and unsociable hours, especially during peak seasons A positive and proactive attitude Strong team player with a willingness to learn 2 x Contract Options: We offer two contract options: 1. Seasonal Contract: March to end of October each year (4 months off) 2. Permanent Contract: Year-round position with variable hours to accommodate seasonal fluctuations. Consistent monthly income throughout the year.
