Part Time Catering Assistant

Location: Cambridge (CB3) Duration: 20th January to 21st March 2025 & 28th April to 20th June 2025 Hours: 9:30am until 1:30pm Monday to Friday Salary: £12.30 per hour Job Reference: 35519 Polytec are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant for our Cambridge based client starting 20th January 2025. You will be assisting with lunch service, operating a till and maintaining a clean and tidy break out area. Responsibilities: Preparing and serving hot food Provide lunches and refreshments to staff, meeting rooms and small conferences Maintain high level of hygiene standards Clean down after service Assist and supervise catering at functions and events Keep break out area clean and tidy Use of dishwashers and washing up by hand Requirements: Excellent customer care You will need to be able to cook hot meals Previous experience in a similar catering/hospitality environment Good initiative Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (preferred but not essential) Some heavy lifting is involved Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below
