Assistant Restaurant Manager - Devon Michelin Star JWR is currently recruiting for a Assistant Restaurant Manager with a passion for high standards and professionalism to lead the team of a Michelin Star Restaurant at a multi award winning hotel in Devon. The Package / Benefits / Opportunities: Up to £35k Bonus & Service Charge (OTE £45k) Paid overtime Great opportunities to progress and develop Excellent company benefits No live in available, candidate will need to be able to commute or willing to relocate and source own accommodation Responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the Michelin Star Restaurant at this leading Hotel, reporting to the Exec Chef and Operations Manager Previous Michelin star/3 Rosette experience preferred with a strong background in high quality Food & Beverage operations Required Skills: Previous experience of a 2/3 rosette or 1 Michelin star is essential to this role Strong leader who is able to manage and motivate the restaurant team ensuring all company standards are delivered and guest expectations exceeded. Ensure the restaurant is presented to the highest standard and delivering the best possible service at all times Hands on approach, positive and flexible with a focused approach to deliver high standards of service putting guest and staff needs at the heart of what they do Demonstrate a passion and commitment to training, ensuring the team deliver a professional and high-quality service supported by a sound understanding of our food and wine offerings. Have outstanding knowledge of fine foods and service, whilst embracing any new opportunities to expand this knowledge in order to enhance guests experience. Have strong financial understanding of the restaurant department and the impact it has on the hotels profitability. Recruit and develop a cohesive team that show passion and commitment. Possess exceptional customer service skills with the ability to develop key relationships with all our guests.
