The Opportunity For our Group Compliance team, based in Paris, La Défense, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Regulatory Officer to join us. The successful candidate will be responsible for staying informed about global regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions, and supporting the preparation and submission of regulatory documents. This role requires a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Stay up-to-date with global regulatory requirements and understand them across jurisdictions in relation to our business conduct. Prepare assessment reports on changes in the legal and regulatory environment. Review existing policies and procedures, aligning them with regulatory requirements and the company's priorities. Assess the adequacy and robustness of our systems, controls, and ongoing practices. Assist in preparing and submitting regulatory returns, mainly related to governance, and collect relevant information for internal and external regulatory audits. Engage in the preparation of license applications. Maintain the database of regulatory publications and provide summary information to the relevant team. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain documentation integrity. Perform general administrative duties and handle additional tasks and responsibilities related to the role as needed. Contribute to strategic programs such as DORA, CESO, and the upcoming PSD3. Maintain the regulatory watch. Contribute to the NPAP (New Product Approval Process) project. In practice this means: Required Experience : Knowledge of European regulatory compliance projects. Knowledge of financial services and/ or payment services regulations. Strong interpersonal skills and the capability to work with all levels of personnel with a high degree of integrity and maturity. Collaborative and results-driven mindset, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines. Excellent spoken and written English communication skills. Your Profile: Undergraduate degree in legal, compliance, or related fields. 1-3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, audit, or risk function. Proficiency in English is mandatory; Additional language skills are an asset.
