Director of Development & Fundraising

Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland (BGCO) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing the youth in the community. With three facilities in flatland Oakland, BGCO provides safe spaces for kids and teens to learn, grow, and succeed academically while fostering good character, citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. The facilities offer various amenities such as library/learning centers, computer labs, social recreation spaces, teen centers, gymnasiums, stages for performing arts, and music recording studios.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Development & Fundraising at Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland. The Director will be responsible for planning and executing fundraising strategies, managing annual giving campaigns, cultivating philanthropic relationships, overseeing budgeting for development activities, and implementing planned giving programs to support BGCO's mission.

• Planned Giving and Annual Giving experience
• Expertise in Philanthropy and Fundraising
• Strong Budgeting skills
• Ability to create and execute effective fundraising strategies
• Experience in donor cultivation and stewardship
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of nonprofit financial management
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, Master's degree preferred
