We are looking for an experienced and passionate General Manager who


  • Has experience increasing revenues for restaurant concepts
  • Can bring solutions oriented approach to restaurant operations, with concept, financial projections and operational SOPs
  • Can lead the Front of House and Back of House teams
  • Focus on fostering a close-knit, collaborative team environment where every member plays a key role in the restaurant’s success
  • Can integrate business strategy into day to day operations
  • Oversee day to day operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience


What You’ll Do:


1. Lead with Passion & Purpose

As the General Manager, you’ll set the tone for the restaurant’s operations and guest experience. You’ll inspire your team to deliver exceptional hospitality and ensure that every guest feels like part of the family.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure alignment with our vision for service and culture
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment where every team member can thrive
  • Provide a personal touch to elevate the guest experience


2. Operational & Financial Oversight

You’ll be responsible for driving the operational and financial success of the restaurant, from managing labor and cost controls to inventory and financial reporting.

  • Oversee forecasting, labor cost management, and inventory control to maintain profitability
  • Manage COGs, labor and expenses to fall within financial parameters
  • Use restaurant management software to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement
  • Lead the team in creating and executing operational strategies that increase weekly revenue and optimize labor costs
  • Oversee restaurant invoicing process.
  • Oversees scheduling of all employees including time off requests
  • Approves payroll, overtime, penalties, and any exceptions within the company timing standard
  • Approves all crew compensation structure changes


3. Guest Experience: Increasing Personalization of Service

You’ll be the ambassador of our distinctive hospitality, ensuring that each guest gets a personalized level of service.

  • Welcome guests with warmth and outrageous forms of hospitality
  • Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
  • Create initiatives to engage guests, from seasonal events to personalized experiences
  • Maintain communications with Guest through reservation process
  • Monitor emails & feedback sites to track guest satisfaction ie: Yelp, Google Reviews


4. Team Development & Leadership

You’ll lead a diverse and passionate team, developing talent and promoting a culture of growth and accountability.

  • Hire, train, and mentor team members to uphold the restaurant’s standards
  • Lead by example, demonstrating integrity, empathy, and a commitment to excellence
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to empower the team to succeed
  • Holds people accountable for their work and coaches appropriately
  • Ensures daily coaching of management to crew
  • Formulates restaurant operations policies (SOPs) to continuously enhance the business
  • Investigates and resolves complaints from crew
  • Investigates and resolves Guest complaints
  • Creating educational curriculum to provide crew with ongoing knowledge about industry, food, beverage and service.


5. Cultivating the Restaurant Culture

As General Manager, you will be the guardian of our culture—a culture centered around hospitality.

  • Organize team-building activities, annual celebrations, and staff appreciation events
  • Communicate regularly with your team about the restaurant’s vision and values


What We’re Looking For:


Experience & Expertise

  • 5+ years of experience in restaurant management with emphasis on operational skills, preferably in fine dining or upscale casual concepts
  • Proven ability to grow and scale operations while managing financials and achieving revenue targets
  • Forecasts sales and labor budget (semi-annually, period, weekly, daily).
  • Expertise in managing labor costs, P&L, inventory, and financial reporting systems
  • Expertise in point of sale systems, specifically Toast.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach to operational challenges
  • A passion for creating memorable guest experiences and fostering a culture of hospitality
  • Independent thinker who can create reports to track progress on goals.
  • An expertise on managing the floor, including tracking turn times, pacing and staffing to optimize revenue.
  • In depth knowledge of beverages, including beer, spirits, wine and non alcoholic drinks
  • Technical proficiency in Google Workspace, including documents and sheets.

  • A strategic thinker who can integrate operational initiatives to drive revenue and efficiency
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment with lean staffing
  • Creative and innovative problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time (6 or more hours per shift, excluding break times).
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 30 pounds (examples include beverage cambros, ice buckets, tray of food & drinks, and taking out the trash).
  • Ability to frequently bend and reach overhead (examples include stocking to-go supplies and dusting retail shelves).


Additional Requirements:

  • College degree in business, hospitality, or related field is preferred
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of local health and safety regulations and ability to ensure compliance. ServSafe certifications needed for both food safety and alcohol service within 60 days of hire.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $65K - $90K Based on experience
  • Bonus Potential: Up to 10% of Base Salary, paid quarterly.
  • Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Paid Time Off: 2 weeks PTO and Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day off
