Position Summary:

The Director of Land Acquisition will lead efforts to identify, evaluate, and secure land for residential development in Myrtle Beach, SC. This senior leadership role focuses on strategic market analysis, deal negotiation, and fostering relationships to support the company’s growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement land acquisition strategies aligned with business goals.
• Identify and evaluate land opportunities through detailed market research.
• Oversee contract negotiations and secure favorable acquisition terms.
• Manage due diligence, zoning, and entitlement processes.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, landowners, and municipalities.
• Collaborate with executives on land portfolio planning and investment decisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of land acquisition experience, including leadership in homebuilding or real estate.
• In-depth knowledge of local market dynamics, zoning laws, and land use regulations.
• Strong negotiation, financial modeling, and project management skills.
• Proven success in sourcing and closing land acquisitions.
