Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our team as an Executive Chef. This role is ideal for someone with a deep love for culinary arts and a commitment to excellence in kitchen management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our culinary team, embodying our core values, and driving innovation within our food and beverage operations. This position demands a leader who can inspire their team, manage kitchen finances effectively, and maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality. A love of Texas-inspired food, incredible wines and the best whiskeys in the world is a must. The ideal CDC has 3-4 years of high-volume, steak-house restaurant experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Engage and lead the culinary team by recruiting, hiring, coaching, and providing continuous training and development.
• Manage financial responsibilities, including budgeting revenues and expenses, measuring costs of products, services, and other cost objectives to ensure profitability.
• Exhibit our core values by creating innovative improvements, collaborating with others, and being accountable for measurable, high-quality, and timely results.
• Respond to guest concerns with empathy and innovation, employing creative problem-solving to deliver robust solutions.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings to update the culinary team on key business updates, operational changes, and special events.
• Assist with creating weekly staff schedules in coordination with the General Manager to ensure operational efficiency.
• Order kitchen goods, utensils, and cleaning products as necessary, ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked and functional.
• Control operational costs and monitor the departmental budget to maintain financial health.
• Uphold and enforce standards of food safety, sanitation, and quality, ensuring all dishes are prepared and served consistently according to company recipes and standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of all reports, documentation, and other information required by our corporate office.
• Adhere strictly to local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding labor, health, and safety standards.
• Actively seek guest feedback and take action to continuously improve the dining experience.
• Follow and implement disciplinary action requirements as set by the company, maintaining a professional and respectful work environment.
• Participate actively in weekly manager meetings, contributing insights and strategies for ongoing improvement.
