About The Position
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist\nWe are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist Traveler to operate diagnostic imaging equipment for temporary assignments in various healthcare facilities. The radiologic technologist will follow physicians' orders to capture high-quality images of tissues, bones, organs, and vessels. This role also involves positioning patients and equipment, answering patients' questions, and occasionally assisting in radiation therapy treatments or administering radiopharmaceuticals.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nPrepare examination rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for use.\nAdminister radiopharmaceuticals or assist in radiation therapy to obtain clear diagnostic images.\nPosition patients and equipment, explain the procedure to ensure comfort, and monitor patient safety throughout.\nInput commands and data into imaging systems to document and control scan sequences, adjusting image contrast or density as needed.\nMonitor and observe patients during procedures, following safety protocols to prevent unnecessary radiation exposure.\nProduce diagnostic images, report critical findings to physicians, and maintain accurate patient records.\nOrganize daily schedules, prioritize emergencies, and manage radiographic supply inventory.\nHandle administrative tasks, including answering technical questions, scheduling exams, and providing pre-procedure instructions.\nPerform regular maintenance on radiologic equipment and manage emergency repairs when needed.\nRequirements:\nAssociate’s or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or a related field.\nState licensure and certification in radiography.\nProven experience in radiology, with strong technical and analytical skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.\nGood organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.\nAbility to lift and move heavy patients or equipment as necessary.
