Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef at Crustacean in Beverly Hills, CA. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in food preparation, cooking, and overseeing kitchen operations. Tasks include but not limited to: assistance in menu planning, ensuring food quality and consistency, assisting in managing kitchen staff, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Qualifications
- Culinary skills in food preparation, cooking, and menu planning
- Experience in overseeing kitchen operations and managing kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Creativity and attention to detail in food presentation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in a fine dining or high-end restaurant is a plus
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred
