Ocean Drive Plastic Surgery Center, located in beautiful Vero Beach, FL, is seeking an outstanding Cosmetic Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. Position Overview:
The Cosmetic Coordinator will be responsible for consulting and coordinating care for patients seeking aesthetic plastic surgery and nonsurgical treatments. You will work closely with our board-certified plastic surgeon and dermatologist to assist in treatment planning, while managing all aspects of the patient journey from initial consultation through post-treatment follow-up. This role also involves coordinating services between our surgical center and medical spa to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Management and Sales:
- Actively manage patient leads and inquiries, ensuring timely follow-ups and conversions from inquiries to consultations.
- Create and present personalized surgery quotes and treatment plans to patients, ensuring they understand all available options.
- Provide ongoing patient engagement through scheduled follow-ups, both written and verbal, to maintain relationships and increase conversion rates.
- Consultative Sales:
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand patients' needs, recommend appropriate treatments, and guide them through decision-making processes.
- Build trust with patients by providing personalized recommendations that align with their goals and expectations.
- Educate patients on the benefits of various procedures and services, addressing any concerns and ensuring they feel confident in their choices.
- Assist patients in understanding the value of combination treatments and long-term aesthetic plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Patient Care Coordination:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients throughout their aesthetic journey, ensuring they feel informed, comfortable, and cared for at every step.
- Assist with treatment planning and scheduling, ensuring all aspects of patient care are coordinated effectively between the surgical center and medical spa.
- Guide patients through the financial aspects of their care, including payment plans and collections, with a focus on transparency and trust.
- Administrative Support and Reporting:
- Prepare and manage administrative, performance, and financial reports using Excel and other tools.
- Support the practice with general office duties, including appointment confirmations, document preparation, and patient record maintenance.
- Marketing and Events:
- Assist in planning and hosting patient seminars, educational events, and other marketing initiatives.
- Participate in the creation of marketing materials and maintain a professional social media presence to engage current and potential patients.
- Industry Knowledge and Compliance:
- Stay current on all practice product lines, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, AAAA-Certified Surgery Center requirements, and other relevant regulations.
- Relationship Building:
- Develop and nurture relationships with patients, ensuring a high level of trust and satisfaction.
- Act as a liaison between patients and medical staff, advocating for patient needs and ensuring their concerns are addressed promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Superior people skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and create lasting relationships.
- Strong communication and sales skills, with a focus on consultative sales techniques to guide patients in making informed decisions.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple patient journeys simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to prepare detailed reports.
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a desire to build a long-term career at Ocean Drive Plastic Surgery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in aesthetic medicine or plastic surgery is a plus, but not required.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, particularly in sales or patient care.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical practice operations.
