Hours: 37.5 hours per week inc weekends & Bank holidays
Salary: £23,868 pa
Duration: Permanent/ Full time

Knightshayes Court is a Victorian mansion built in 1869.
We are fortunate to have an Organic Walled Kitchen Garden where we utilise this wonderful produce on our menus wherever possible.
Our operation is all year round with the exception of some later nights in December for our Christmas lights therefore weekend/Bank holiday working will be required. Generally you will have one day in the week plus one day at the weekend however we do require flexibility to meet the needs of the business. There are no spilt shifts.
What you'll be doingYou'll assist your Manager in the management of our Cafe operations so that it is commercially successful, achieving stretching financial targets & maximising income & profitability, playing your part in our Team leading for a great Visitor experience therefore this role will require a hands on approach in our Cafes including Barista & Till operation & as required Back of House.
You'll ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional service & presentation standards that consistently exceed our Visitors expectations.
You'll have delegated responsibility for recruiting, training & developing a fantastic, Service focused team & embedding National Trust Food & Beverage standards.
Who we're looking forWe’d love to hear from you if you’re:
•Used to achieving outstanding customer service in a similar environment.
•A good leader of people, skilled in setting personal objectives and giving feedback.
•Experienced with budgets to increase income and control costs (including managing stock and waste).
•A people person, with a friendly attitude and great communication skills.
•Aware of health and safety compliance.
