Who You Are

You are an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with essential previous experience in grounds maintenance. You possess a basic understanding of plant knowledge and horticultural machinery. A strong understanding of Health & Safety is crucial, as is possessing a valid driving license for up to a 3.5-tonne transit tipper, with a preference for experience driving in a London Borough. You can follow clear instructions, work in all weather conditions, and complete physical tasks unsupervised. Additionally, you have customer care experience and can effectively work within a team or independently.

What the Job Involves

This role involves ensuring the upkeep of over 100 parks and open spaces in Enfield, including playgrounds, countryside areas, and sports pitches, to maintain them in excellent condition for residents and visitors. The job also extends to maintaining grass verges, green spaces on roads, and on housing estates throughout the Borough. It is a varied role requiring extensive travel across the area, demanding adaptability and a commitment to outstanding customer service. Candidates must be ready to confirm their available start date upon application.
