Job Description

Were looking for a Team Leader to join our Logistics team!

As a Team Leader for N Brown, youll work to effectively manage operational processes, resource and colleagues within our Logistics operation. Youll provide an excellent customer experience for all of our internal and external customers within agreed objectives and SLAs, and youll drive change through a continuous improvement culture. Were looking for people that are passionate about leading people and youll be a role model for our core behaviours and be a true advocate for our culture!

Shift pattern: 4 days on 4 days off. Your working hours will be 2pm to 1:30am.

Location: Our Logistics hub is located in Shaw, Oldham. It can be easily accessed via Tram, which is a just few minutes walk away, and we also offer free car parking for anyone who wishes to drive to the site

What will you do as a Team Leader at N Brown?
  • Youll lead, support, motivate, train and develop the Logistics Operational colleagues in your team to ensure our Logistics Operational objectives are met.
  • Youll accurately log colleague time and attendance, and youll ensure all colleagues absence is managed in line with N Brown policy.
  • Youll make sure that delivery of all Health & Safety (including all current COVID) measures and housekeeping requirements are maintained, and youll ensure there is a safe and clean environment for all colleagues and visitors on the Logistics sites.
  • Youll work to achieve production and compliance targets and SLAs whilst making sure that we are using the most cost-effective use of resource and services. Youll also respond to adjustments in production plans and assign resource where needed.
  • Youll deliver the departmental budgets through effective manpower, planning and performance management.
  • Youll review performance and quality for your area of responsibility and provide weekly cost analysis.
  • Youll also review and respond to direction to investigate trends in MI.
  • Youll be flexible with start/finish times of shift in order to plan the day and provide accurate details for handovers for colleagues and be open to support business needs with flexibility of overtime when required.
  • Youll be multiskilled to manage several departments outside of your main department.
  • Youll identify process improvements and support implementation through the use of lean six sigma methodology to ensure the logistics operation is efficient and flexible to meet our customer demands.
