Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure high quality and attractive presentation for all food items.
- Keep the kitchen area spotless and organized, adhering to safety regulations.
- Prepare customized dishes that cater to clients' dietary preferences and restrictions.
- Manage inventory and communicate necessary inventory needs to the Executive Chef.
- Follow stringent safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Provide support in training and supervising new kitchen staff as required.
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to guarantee smooth service and operations.
- Be flexible and ready to assist in various kitchen roles as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary school training is a plus.
- Experience as a cook in a professional kitchen is essential.
- Ability to follow directions, recipes, and cooking protocols with precision.
- Strong foundation in cooking techniques and kitchen safety measures.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Flexible and willing to take on new challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with a variety of cuisines
- Previous culinary experience
- ServSafe certified
