Tutor / Trainer Opportunities Warehouse - Hospitality - Horticulture - FLT

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.We have some exciting Tutor/Trainer opportunities starting in Spring 2025!Tutor openings for the following vocations include;

• Warehouse and Storage Tutor
• Hospitality & Catering Tutor
• RTITB Forklift Instructor Tutor
• Horticulture Tutor

Location: Newmarket - Centre basedSalary: £27,000 (inc uplift) for 4 days per week (Monday – Thursday)Type: 4 days per week, Permanent Essential Criteria:

• Ideally hold a Level 3 Teaching Qualification OR an Assessors Award – if you do not hold either, you must be able to demonstrate extensive experience of internal training within your role and be willing to work towards a Teaching/Training qualifications provided by the company.
• Must hold a min NVQ level 2 (or equiv/higher) in your specialist vocation
• (for the RTITB role you must hold a full RTITB FLT Instructor Licence)
• Experience of delivering training in a workshop / group-based setting - or providing on-the-job training within the workplace.
• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.

Duties:

• Teach/assess learners in a classroom based setting, who are working towards a vocational qualifications within their chosen field.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
• Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
