Job Description
Enrichment Officer Job Type: Full-time, Term time only plus 4 weeks Location: Northwest London We are seeking an Enrichment Officer to actively engage with students to promote positive behaviours, attitudes, and inclusion at Our Client's College. This role involves delivering a range of activities and events focused on wellbeing, personal development, and student inclusion. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the student experience and encouraging participation in all Enrichment and Student Voice activities. Day-to-day of the role: Devise, plan, and implement a calendar of engaging student-responsive enrichment activities that support behaviours, attitudes, wellbeing, and personal development. Develop activities that support and promote the cultural and community identities represented within the College. Maintain friendly yet efficient relationships with students, ensuring punctuality and attendance. Actively liaise with students in tutor groups, the Student Lounge, and around the campus to promote positive behaviours and attitudes. Support the College’s student voice initiatives and ensure student views are represented in Student Parliament and Student Union meetings. Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Sports Hall, Fitness Room, and the Student Lounge. Develop ideas to constructively use spaces within the College to enhance student recreational time. Ensure the safety of all participants in enrichment activities and manage first aid situations as needed. Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the Sports Hall and Fitness Room. Manage the setup and clearance of enrichment activities, including stock-taking and laundering of equipment. Provide coaching and supervision for all enrichment activities as required. Contribute to the College Tutorial Programme and liaise with teaching staff regarding the enrichment programme. Uphold responsibilities related to health and safety, equality and diversity, safeguarding, and data protection. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in student engagement and activity planning. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with students. Experience in managing facilities such as sports halls or similar environments. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. First aid certification is preferred. Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
