About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Field Engineer to lead the installations team. The role offers leadership and improvement opportunities alongside an opportunity to continue building out an ever-growing team. Working alongside the Operations, Projects and Provisioning teams, our successful candidate will oversee installations throughout our portfolio.


Roles & Responsibilities

The Senior Field Engineer is a multi-faceted role with leadership, process improvement and delivery responsibilities. You will be a key member of the Operations Leadership Team. As with any SME, your roles and responsibilities will be varied and evolve over time. We offer a unique and varied opportunity to progress both your skills, expertise, and accountabilities in a fast paced and energetic environment.


Key areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to:


  • Install and configure point of sale hardware and software systems at customer locations, ensuring they are properly integrated with existing infrastructure.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and make necessary repairs to ensure uninterrupted system functionality.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and employees on how to use and troubleshoot the point-of-sale systems effectively.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in point-of-sale technology and remain proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, inventory, and equipment status, and provide timely reports to the service team and management.
  • Foster positive customer relationships by delivering exceptional service, resolving customer inquiries and issues promptly, and maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour.
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of point-of-sale systems by conducting system testing, quality checks, and adhering to best practices.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing on-site visits, ensuring the safety of yourself and others.
  • Collaborate with other members of the technical team to share knowledge, troubleshoot complex issues, and improve overall system performance.
