Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the operational performance and management of a purpose-built student accommodation residence. The role involves leading a dedicated on-site team, ensuring exceptional service for residents, and maintaining high operational standards. You will build relationships with residents, universities, contractors, and stakeholders while driving occupancy, compliance, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations, including the residence team, contractors, and maintenance. Promote a resident-focused culture and deliver high customer satisfaction. Drive sales and marketing efforts to achieve occupancy targets. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and UK housing regulations. Oversee budgets, financial performance, and revenue-generating initiatives. About You: Proven track record in building management and team leadership. Experience managing budgets exceeding £100k. Strong knowledge of UK housing tenancy laws and compliance. Exceptional communication, planning, and customer relationship skills.
