Our client located in Billericay are looking for a Counterbalance Driver to join their team Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift Driver Location: Benfleet Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am-5.30pm Job Type: Temp - Perm Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently. Load and unload goods from vehicles. Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility. Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions. Check loads are secure. Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues. Assist with other warehouse duties as required. Requirements: Valid Counterbalance Forklift License. Proven experience as a forklift operator. Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy objects. Excellent coordination and balance. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
