Youth Worker

Job Title: Youth Worker Location: Norwich Hourly Pay: £13 - £14.50 We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Worker to join our team and make a positive impact in the lives of young people. As a Youth Worker, you will work closely with young individuals, providing support, guidance, and mentoring to help them develop essential life skills and reach their full potential. Responsibilities: Engage and build relationships with young people, establishing trust and rapport Plan, coordinate, and facilitate a variety of recreational, educational, and social activities Provide individual and group support to address the needs and challenges faced by young individuals Promote positive behavior, personal growth, and self-esteem in young people Offer advice, guidance, and mentoring to help young people make informed decisions and set achievable goals Collaborate with parents, schools, and community organizations to provide comprehensive support Ensure the safety and well-being of young people during all activities Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Youth Work, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Proven experience working with young people in a youth work, community development, or similar role Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Understanding of the challenges faced by young people and ability to provide appropriate support Ability to engage and connect with young individuals from diverse backgrounds Strong organizational and time management skills Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with young people Knowledge of relevant youth support services and resources We offer a supportive work environment, competitive compensation, and opportunities for professional growth.
