Role Summary:
Responsible for the information technology servers architecture and overall direction for the organization's technical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor, maintain and manage Servers and Infrastructure services operating on those servers. Infrastructure services include: Group Policy, Anti-virus systems, DLP, Databases, Active Directory, Exchange Mail, File services, Terminal Services, IT Scanning, O365, and web servers.
2. Ensure that the servers are designed appropriately based on Availability and Capacity plans i.e. with appropriate performance and up-time applicable for the Service Level Agreements.
3. Participate in design, implementation, and enhancement of servers and Infrastructure services set-up and configuration.
4. Monitor server and infrastructure services. Manage the event log and take remedial action.
5. Prepare capacity and availability trends and reports for analysis.
6. Design and implement housekeeping routines. Monitor system and infrastructure service logs.
7. Ensure that backup operations are executed and completed. Ensure the integrity of backup operations periodically. Restore from backup as required.
8. Design and implement batch job management routines. Ensure that batch jobs are scheduled optimally and manage failed batch jobs.
9. Design and implement print queue management routines.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:
• A degree in the related job field.
• Those with 1 to 2 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role will have an advantage but not essential.
• Willing to relocate to the job location.
