Maintenance Engineer - Annabel's


We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer tojoin the team of our stunning private members club Annabels, 46 Berkeley Square, part of The Birley Clubs.


Annabels at 46 Berkeley Square covers 26,000 square feet and is home to five restaurants, bars, private dining rooms and a cigar salon. A team of world-class Chefs, Sommeliers and Mixologists have designed an outstanding array of menus, cocktail, and wine lists. Expertly sourced, seasonal ingredients, wines and spirits are brought together using traditional and subversive techniques to create truly unique dining and drinking experiences.


As the in-house Maintenance Engineer, reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be a hands-on and proactive technician, responsible for the day to day maintenance of the club:

As Maintenance Engineer your main responsibilities will be:

Painting & decorating

Plastering

Basic carpentry

Tiling

Manual handling when required

General repairs on various catering equipment

Out of hours works

Use of CAFM systems

Non-technical planned maintenance tasks

Checking and monitoring the progress on completion of snagging lists

Ability to delivery maintenance duties with minimal supervision and to a high quality

The candidate will ideally have:

Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer

Previous experience using Pronett (preferable)

Previous experience in a luxury hospitality environment (preferable)

Previous experience completing planned maintenance

Qualification in either Commercial Electrical or Plumbing works (preferable)

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Impeccable attention to detail

Ability to build good relationships with external contractors and internal staff

Excellent communication skills and English language ability

Ability to effectively communicate with Chefs and Front of House teams
