Finance Director

Our client is a fast growing, highly successful, high volume, multi-site restaurant business looking to appoint an established Finance Director as it embarks on an ambitious acquisition and new openings plan.

The business has robust investment and a track record of success, and this role will be focused on achieving growth plan, as well as driving strategic and operational business efficiencies through the implementation of leading systems and processes.

With a seat at the senior leadership table, this is an exciting opportunity for a accomplished Finance Director keen to drive impact during a period of growth and transformation, and influence strategic decision making.

The Role

Working alongside the CEO the Finance Director will:

• Advise and support on business structure and ways of working, leading on process improvement
• Consolidate existing systems and processes to ensure operational excellence and the preparation of the business for growth
• Lead and develop a high performing finance team
• Drive EBITDA growth focused on both cost control and driving revenue
• Oversee all operational finance functions ensuring best practice
• Work collaboratively across all business functions, particularly operations to drive operational excellence and customer experience
• Manage cash flow, capital expenditure, and working capital to support the company's growth and ensure financial stability

The Person

• A formal accountancy qualification and a track record of achievement as a Finance Director in the hospitality sector is essential
• Honed leadership skills and experience of leading and developing high performing finance teams with a collaborative approach and detailed understand of operations
• A highly commercial mindset
• Hands on, in the detail, with excellent communication skills, able to build robust relationships and influence at all levels
