Job Advertisement: Adult Support Worker - Kent (Tunbridge Wells)

Hays Specialist Recruitment is recruiting Adult Support Workers to support adults with learning disabilities (e.g., Autism and ADHD) in residential homes in Kent (Tunbridge Wells).Salary: £23,000 - £25,000Shifts: All shift patterns available, including nights, long days, and half days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide essential support to adults with learning disabilities, fostering independence and personal growth.
• Assist with daily activities, including cooking, cleaning, and medication management.
• Accompany residents to appointments and social activities.
• Ensure a safe, nurturing environment to promote well-being.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 2 years in a care setting, with 1 year in the UK (preferred).
• Qualifications: NVQ L3/2 in Health and Social Care or similar qualifications in supporting adults with learning disabilities (ideal).
• Driving Licence: Manual driving licence (preferred, not mandatory).
• Skills: Resilience, flexibility, and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
