Job Description
Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Central London
Package: £55,000 - £65,000 plus car allowance and travel
Skilled Careers are working with a Tier One Main Contractor who have had an excellent 18 months and have been one of the leading Companies in the UK.
This Main Contractor specialise within a variety of different sectors including Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Hotels, Data Centres and more.
Due to excellent growth they are not looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a £55M New Build Residential in the heart of London where you would be working closely with the Lead Surveyor.
Responsibilities
Analysis of tender allowances
The measurement and valuation of works (on site and from drawings), for valuations, variations and final accounts.
Agreement of valuation dates and preparing, submitting interim valuations in accordance with those dates.
Administering and/or advising on Main Contract and Subcontract conditions
Subcontract and Design ProcurementRequirements
Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or comparable qualification.
Have a track record of working for a Main Contractor.
In-depth knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contracts.
Excellent IT skills across Microsoft suites.What is in it for you?
