Job Description
Salem Health is seeking a dedicated Urologist to join our team in Salem, Oregon. As part of our healthcare system, you will work collaboratively with a team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals in inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings.
Your Role with Us:
Provide both outpatient and inpatient consults, performing clinic and operating room-based procedures.
Utilize robotic surgical assistance to enhance precision and patient outcomes in urological surgeries.
Leverage AI-assisted technology connected to our EPIC EMR to improve patient care, enhance workflow efficiency, and reduce administrative burden.
Manage follow-up outpatient care for patients after inpatient procedures.
Participate in after-hours calls, rounds on inpatients, and urgent urologic surgical procedures while on call.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of clinical care in our EMR system.
Contribute to the development of protocols, policies, order sets, and patient education materials related to urology.
Build and cultivate a strong referral base for urology patients.

Qualifications and Expertise:
Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited residency program in Urology.
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Oregon.
DEA certificate.
Board Certification in Urology by the American Board of Urology (or eligibility to obtain board certification within five years).
Expertise in all aspects of urology procedures and surgery.
Knowledge of Lean methodology is highly preferred.
