Job Description

Leading non-profit medical group (in Hollywood), that's been around for 20 years, serving the uninsured and lower income communities of LA, is looking for a Bilingual Medical Records Clerk!

The Medical Records Clerk will assist patients with medical records processes, serves as a liaison for Spanish-speaking patients and staff. Process record requests, verifying documentation. Maintain and organize records per HIPAA regulations. Input and manage patient data in the EMR system. Ensure strict confidentiality of all records.

Pay Rate: $24.00/hr.
Shift: Monday - Friday / 8:00AM – 5:00PM
City: Los Angeles, CA (Hollywood)

Medical Records Clerk Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Medical Records Clerk experience
  • Knowledge of Medical Records duties, process ROI requests, ensure HIPAA guidelines are followed
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
  • High School Diploma is required. Certification in Health Information Management or a related field in preferred
