Reports To: Camp Office Supervisor
Status: Full-Time, Part-Time, Seasonal
Classification: Non-exempt
Schedule: Weekdays Hours 20-40 hours/week
POSITION SUMMARY
The Summer Camp Administrative Assistant furthers the Mission of Roundup River Ranch by providing direct support to the Camp Administrative Manager. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing high quality, detail oriented administrative duties to support successful overall day to day operations of our Summer Camp Program. This role is highly administrative with some opportunity to witness the impact of our Mission.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provides administrative support in preparation for Volunteer Orientation, Camper Arrival, and Departure Day
- Assists with volunteer and camper arrival preparation including tasks such as water bottle labeling, camp t-shirts organization, wood cookies
- Leads collection of daily incoming mail (including packages) and distributing daily camper mail.
- Performs administrative tasks including printing, photocopying, scanning, collating, and document creation
- Assists with inventory management
- Supports welcoming campers on site and the popsicle hotline throughout the camp session
- Supports the Cabin Life team with administrative support for session preparation and closedown
- Responsible for cleanliness, room checks & readiness, hanging of door signs and other Housekeeping duties including but not limited to cleaning restrooms, sweeping, mopping, etc. as needed in DJs.
- Support Admissions team as needed
- Weekly remove old allergy list from napkin holders and place new ones for current session
- Make a positive contribution to the camp culture and assist in the day-to-day operations of camp as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must be detail orientated
- Ability to work on a Team
- Able to move items (such as supplies and equipment): this will require the strength and mobility to push, pull, lift, and carry items up to 50 pounds.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability and interest in learning new things.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
