Shift Manager

Ottolenghi is a celebrated group of restaurants and delis known for vibrant, creative dishes, warm hospitality, and fostering a positive, inclusive culture. As we prepare to open our newest venue in Richmond, were looking for a dedicated Shift Manager to join our welcoming and professional team. This is an exciting opportunity to help lead a passionate team, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and contribute to the development of a new location.

As a Shift Manager, youll oversee the daily operations, ensuring smooth service across both the shop and restaurant. Youll train, motivate, and inspire your team while ensuring that Ottolenghis high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health & safety are maintained. The role offers a great opportunity to develop your skills in managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations and learn about the deli side of the business.

The Ideal Candidate

• At least 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role, ideally as a Shift Manager or in a similar position
• A passion for food, wine, and delivering exceptional guest service
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and communicate effectively with your team
• A proactive, hands-on approach to maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and organisation
• A positive, approachable attitude, committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere
