We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bar Supervisor to join the team at a high-end gastro pub. This role is ideal for someone with strong wine and cocktail knowledge, and any sommelier experience would be a distinct advantage. Bar Supervisor Ideal Profile:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or hospitality setting
• Strong knowledge of wines, cocktails, and bar operations
• Sommelier experience or wine service training is highly desirable
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest service and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Bar Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Lead the bar team to always ensure efficient and high-quality service
• Develop and maintain a creative cocktail menu and a curated wine list that complements the venues ethos
• Train and mentor, the bar team on wine and cocktail knowledge, upselling techniques, and service standards
• Manage stock levels and liaise with suppliers to ensure a consistent and high-quality product offering
• Oversee the bars cleanliness, compliance with health and safety regulations, and adherence to licensing laws
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, ensuring all patrons enjoy outstanding service
