Who You Are

We are seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals with a strong background in grounds maintenance. Essential skills include an understanding of Health & Safety, the ability to follow clear instructions, work in all weather conditions, and perform physical tasks unsupervised. Driving experience, particularly in a London borough, is required with a license up to 3.5 tonnes. Basic plant knowledge and horticultural machinery experience are desirable. Customer care and public interaction skills are essential, as is the ability to work both in a team and independently.

What the Job Involves

This role is part of the Parks team responsible for maintaining Enfield's parks, open spaces, grass verges, and green spaces on roads and housing estates. It involves ensuring these areas are in excellent condition for residents and visitors. The position requires travel throughout the Borough, allowing for a varied work environment. Responsibilities include maintaining playgrounds, countryside areas, and sports pitches across over 100 parks. Please confirm your available start date when applying.
