National Account Manager, Leading Drinks Brand, National, Up to £60k plus package
My client is a fantastic and exciting Drinks brand operation both in the UK and Internationally. This company has a fantastic culture and has a vision for growth like no other. The client prides itself on the ability to provide quality product and excellent service.
As a National Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their brand within the on-trade market. Reporting to the Commercial Director, your primary focus will be to grow their brand presence, strengthen relationships with key national accounts, and deliver exceptional commercial results.
The ideal National Account Manager will have a passion for the Drinks Industry, be well connected in the trade and have a willingness to grow.
National Account Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Account Development: Manage and grow relationships with existing national on-trade accounts, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and business objectives.
- New Business: Identify and secure new opportunities within the on-trade and national groups, driving incremental revenue and brand growth.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement account plans to achieve sales targets, brand positioning, and profitability goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, trade marketing, and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions that resonate with customer needs.
- Negotiation: Lead commercial negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that drive long-term partnerships.
- Analysis & Reporting: Monitor performance metrics, conduct competitor analysis, and provide regular updates to senior management on account progress and market insights.
The Ideal National Account Manager candidate:
- Experience: Proven track record in national account management, preferably within the drinks, FMCG, or hospitality sectors.
- Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the on-trade landscape and key national groups.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong analytical and financial skills with a focus on achieving results.
- Relationship Builder: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build lasting partnerships.
- Drive & Passion: A self-starter with a proactive mindset and a genuine passion for the drinks industry.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel nationally and attend industry events as required.
