Scrap Supply Planner

CELSA – Cardiff

Up to £31,000 + 5% bonus


You’ll be joining our Scrap Purchasing team, acting as the link between Scrap and Production. Your role will be to create price forecasts and purchasing schedules for scrap metal. You’ll play a key part in ensuring the correct blends of scrap are used in our production process to meet our customer’s requirements.


Love working with spreadsheets? You’ll be doing a lot of that here. You’ll have a good eye for detail and lots of experience working with excel. As the go-between for Production, Scrap and suppliers you’ll be a natural at dealing with people. As much as it’s the aim, not everything goes to plan so you’ll need to be able to adapt and resolve problems when needed.


You’ll be joining a recycling company – we recycle scrap metal into new steel products. We’re the largest producer of reinforcing steel in the UK and one of the largest metal recyclers, too. We’re passionate about the circular economy and working towards our decarbonisation pathway.
