Scrap Purchasing Administrator

Celsa Manufacturing – Cardiff

Salary £25,000

You will be a key member of our Scrap Purchasing team. Your administrative support will ensure our Scrap Yard Operations run smoothly. Working with the team in Cardiff and also your colleagues based in our various Scrap Yards, you will maintain KPI’s, check scrap prices are correct and create purchase orders.

Admin and SAP experience would be great but as long as you’re computer literate, comfortable working with spreadsheets, keen on learning new things and happy to get stuck in and resolve problems we would really like to hear from you.

The Scrap Purchasing team is a fast growing department in Celsa, so it’s an exciting time to join. The Scrap that you source will feed our Melt Shop, enabling us to recycle the metal into new steel products. We produce over one million tonnes of reinforcing steel a year making us the largest producer in the UK and one of the largest metal recyclers, too.
