Chef

We are looking for two chefs/cooks for a very busy day time only restaurant near Featherstone serving a classic cafe menu - breakfast, lunch, cakes, patisserie and pastries. It is a very busy operation so you will need some volume experience.

Working hours are flexible - 32-40 hours a week, or less, between 8am-5pm.

You will need your own transport.

You will work alongside the sous and head chef preparing and cooking the company menu with responsibility for keeping your working area neat, tidy and legally compliant.

As Chef/Cook you will:

• Prepare and cook the predominantly fresh regularly changing menus
  
• Help to monitor stock levels
  
• Manage the cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
• Work closely with the front of house team
• Maintain high standards of food presentation
  

Attributes - Chef/Cook

We are looking for:

• Chefs/cooks with experience working in high volume fast paced kitchens - restaurants, cafes, schools, contract catering, pubs, hotels etc
  
• Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for cooking
• Knowledgeable in Food Hygiene and Health and Safety requirements.
• Passion for delivering the highest quality food and service.
